Dream Job

Kate Hames

My ultimate dream job, which is now completely unobtainable, was to be a coroner. I only wish I had realised this ten years ago, or at least done something about it ten years ago. My second choice would have been Forensic Archaeologist, which I could have actually achieved if I hadn’t been so doubtful of myself. When I finished college I applied to Bradford University for the Archaeology Degree and was accepted. I turned them down because I didn’t think I would be able to afford to study and look after my son. Looking back now I know I could have done it and I have wanted to kick myself many times for not going. However I’m done beating myself up over what might have been, I’m happy and healthy and there’s lots more to look forward to 🙂

Don’t ever let anyone think you’re not good enough, follow your dreams right now! Don’t wait until tomorrow, next week, next year, stop planning, start doing 🙂

Be happy, numb skulls 😉
