Shave and A Haircut

Over the next six weeks my boyfriend and I will be attending rehearsals at The Engine Shed in Wetherby, in preparation for the Strictly Get Dancing contest held by Martin House Children’s Hospice.

We will be learning , Viennese Waltz, Cha-Cha-Cha and the Waltz! It’s all very exciting and equally terrifying. We will be judged by tv personalities such as Christine Talbot and Jeff Hordley πŸ˜€ Here is the link if you want to check out the event for your self. Β Β Strictly Get Dancing

We will have the chance to be glammed up, hair and make-up done (I know Chris will love this bit the most) and then strut our stuff in front hundreds of supporters! We’ve pledged to raise Β£500 for Martin House Children’s Hospice and we’d love it if you can show your support by making a donation to our Just Giving page.Just Giving

As part of our fundraising effort we have decided to get our heads shaved, in the hope that this might boost our sponsorship. This will be taking place the day after the dancing, on the 28th of February 2016 at Wired hair salon in Gomersal! We’re going to shave all of our hair off! And Chris’ beard..surely that deserves some sort of donation πŸ˜‰

Any type of support is genuinely appreciated, even just sharing this post will help as it may reach someone who can contribute in one way or another.

I’ll be posting updates over the next six weeks in the run up to the Grand Finale! And of course photo’s and hopefully a video will be available of the head shaving and dancing πŸ™‚ So keep your eyes peeled ∞

Don’t ever let anyone make you think you’re not good enough,
follow your dreams right now! Don’t wait until tomorrow,
next week, next year. Stop planning, start doing πŸ™‚
