Places I Have Lived (From house to home)

Thornton – This is where I spent the first 12-13 years of my life. Running around the garden with my childhood friends, Lisa and Cheryl. It was pretty awesome. We made mud pies, ate worms, had lots of sleepovers and ate Nana Lil’s chocolate cake πŸ™‚

Eastburn – I moved here to live with my Mum when I was about 13. It was here that I met my beautiful best friend, Hayley (Hawkeye, Nayley Girl). The village was tiny, there wasn’t much to do. We spent out teenage years trying to get to grips with witchcraft and not dying of boredom.

Sutton-In-Craven – I flew the nest to here, not that I did much nesting, I spent most of my time back at my Mum’s. I did have a rather traumatic experience at this house..we had garden ornaments of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves in the garden, one night there was some particularly bad stormy weather and every single one of them was smashed to pieces! 😦

Cowling – My Mum moved up to Cowling and Christopher and I went to live with her for a few months before we found another house. This house was in such a creepy place, it was up a big dark scary road across from an empty mill and I swear one night I saw a black panther on the roof..seriously. Or just a really, really big cat..which is basically all a black panther is!

Ingrow – Here we had the house with the awesome landlord, the house where I started college and also where Christopher managed to lock himself in his bedroom with a door that didn’t even lock! Cue awesome landlord coming to our rescue πŸ˜€ Β This house also had laminate flooring throughout upstairs. Christopher’s daft two year old mind decided to take full advantage of this. I woke up one morning to find his chest of drawers and wardrobe in my bedroom and his bed halfway down the landing! He thought we should swap bedrooms. It was adorably funny πŸ™‚

Denholme -I moved Christopher and I to Denholme after a rather tough time in Ingrow in the hope of changing our lives. It certainly did that, but not for the better. I fell in to six months of depression and started to actually miss Keighley. You know it has to be bad if you’re missing Keighley. So we quickly packed up and left.

Ingrow (Again) – The main reason we moved in to this house was because I fell in love with the bathroom. It was incredible, I miss it 😦 Β We lived here until 2012 and I can remember us having the most horrendous winter. Truly freezing and evil.Β This house was actually pretty awesome all round. The only reason we moved is because I needed to get Christopher in to a better school and a house became available to us in Bingley.

Bingley – So many memories from here. Christopher broke his nose, I found the love of my life and we unfortunately discovered how truly awful people can be. However after three years of living in this house we moved out and moved in to our home.

That’s where we are now, home πŸ™‚ It may not be perfect, at least not yet, but it’s ours, we own it and I love it.Β β™₯

Don’t ever let anyone make you think you’re not good enough,
follow your dreams right now! Don’t wait until tomorrow,
next week, next year. Stop planning, start doing πŸ™‚
