On my list of things to do there is ‘Hang upside down for five minutes’.
I have actually taken to hanging upside down on my sofa recently, it’s very relaxing. I couldn’t stay like that for five minutes though! I’m thirty two, I don’t think my brain can handle it.
The best thing about hanging upside down is the laughter, I’m guessing this has something to do with the blood rushing to your head? Uncontrollable outbursts.
I did Google the whole hanging upside down thing. Are there any health benefits? Should we be spending more time hanging upside down? It works for sloths. It would seem the answer, as far as I can see, is no. Or maybe there has just not been enough research in to this area of therapy.
All I can tell you is it’s hilarious and makes my neck feel awesome 🙂 So go on, try it for yourself! ♥
