Well yes it is American but it’s not really football is it? It’s rules are actually derived from the Rugby Union Code… Do I sound like I know what I’m talking about? Because I can assure you, I do not.

My stupendously beautiful best friend, Hayley, asked me to accompany her to her husbands away game of American football : Burnley Tornadoes v Morecambe Bay Storm. From start to finish I did not have the foggiest about what was happening. We drove for one and a half hours in my trusty little Toyota with two of the most irritating children know to man in the back of the car. After enduring this journey we had the pleasure of sitting for three hours (Yes, three hours) on a wet, muddy field eating sausage rolls and trying desperately to cheer at the right moments. It wasn’t my idea of fun and I certainly won’t be repeating the process any time but soon but I would do anything for that woman and it really does not matter what we’re doing because I know we will laugh like maniacs. We’re awesome.

Don’t ever let anyone make you think you’re not good enough.

Follow your dreams right now! Don’t wait until tomorrow,

next week, next year. Stop planning, start doing 🙂
