My newly found writing plan says I have to have 500 words written for my novel today. Well it does help if I had made a decision on which novel I am going to start with. I have four ideas kicking around in my head at present so I’ve been doing some brain-storming today to help me make that decision. I’m yet to settle on one but I have definitely realised where my heart lies. I have two where I’m not fully feeling the story line but I have two excellent, strong characters from them. Then there’s another with a story line which I feel I could develop so I may have to integrate one of the characters in to another story… I’m confusing myself now, sorry. I’ve got a children’s book spinning around up there too, so I think I’ll alternate my writing between the novel and the children’s book and see how I get on. I’ve never done writing like this before. It’s always been randomised scribbles or assignments for my module. So we’ll see how my plan works out and whether or not it’s too much pressure doing both together. My point is I’m not going to stress myself out with it. If my writing plan works my goal is to have my children’s book finished by Christmas and my novel finished within 12 months.
As my Sunday writing plan means I won’t actually be able to post any of it, obviously I don’t want to be revealing what I’m writing, at least not yet, my Sunday blog post, will be a photography post. Just something random from the week, something pretty or interesting, I don’t know yet, we shall see 🙂
Don’t ever let anyone make you think you’re not good enough.
Follow your dreams right now! Don’t wait until tomorrow,
next week, next year. Stop planning, start doing 🙂
