Can I go back to my Ab Challenge now please? I’m kidding, I’m kidding. I take it back!

This months challenge, well at least part of it, is to get up at 6 a.m for one whole week. Sunday to Sunday. Yes Sunday πŸ™

I didn’t realise at the time that it would be a bank holiday Monday, duh, and that Christopher would be having his friend to sleepover and therefore I would be deprived of sleep.

I begged Chris to let me start next week but he said no πŸ™ I think his response was ” If you’re not going to do it right, then why do it all?” Okay, point made.

Monday morning arrived and unfortunately I missed (okay I pressed snooze) the first alarm and jumped out of bed at 6:20 a.m. Not quite on time but at least I tried. I fared better yesterday (Tuesday) and woke up at 6:05 a.m. Woo!

I suppose the aim of the challenge isn’t about seeing if I can get up at 6 a.m, it’s more about giving myself the gift of time. I have time in the morning to have a cup of tea and just sit peacefully. It also gives me time to write and feed our pet rats grapes πŸ™‚

I will be trying to stick to this one long after this challenge is done. I might skip the weekends though, unless I can teach myself to sleep-write…
