Week One done!

We’re already an entire week in to May. Which can mean only one thing. My first challenge of this month is over.

I had decided to get up at 6 a.m for a week just to see if I could and to see if I could benefit from this in any way.

My first mistake was to start this on a Bank Holiday Monday and my son had his friend to stay over. My second mistake was not going to bed early enough to compensate for the early mornings.

I am utterly exhausted.

I know plenty of people get up at 6 a.m for work but I haven’t been going to bed until 11:00 p.m which I realise was really stupid. I obviously need more sleep.

The main thing is that I have done it. Yes I was very tempted to roll over and go back to sleep but once I’ve set my mind on something I find it very difficult to stop. If I break my promise to myself then a pixie dies…

It has definitely increased my productivity. I’ve had time to get all the washing done before 7 a.m. Tidy the house and I’ve had time to get so much writing done and come up with new ideas.

I may be physically exhausted and there may have been a point where I really shouldn’t have been driving¹ but I am on fire in every other aspect!

At least know I may have prepared my body to wake up earlier and as long as I get to bed on time I should be okay to keep this going…no pressure though.

Tomorrow is the start of my meditation challenge. I don’t really like to calling it a challenge because meditation isn’t challenging.

It’s amazing and wonderful and everyone should be doing it.

Instead I shall call it my meditation experience ♥

I’m really looking forward to this experience, it’s going to be calming and amazing and I shall have some wondrous meditative moving moments. I look forward to sharing it all with you wonderful people and please feel free to join in 🙂
