We have had a relaxing Sunday out with friends and family at the Bronte Vintage Gathering. We started our day off right with a hot dog and a cup of tea, then spent the afternoon strolling around sampling the delights that were on offer this year.
We marveled at the awesome vintage cars that were on display, placed bets at the ferret races (and won!).
We were mesmerised by the magnificent birds of prey and the darling baby owls, the’re so fluffy!
The kids had to go on the dodgems, helter-skelter, giant slide and tried their hand at hook-a-duck.
It was a beautiful day, weather wise and company wise. Out done only by knowing we have contributed to a worthy cause.
Thank you to all of the organisers and everyone involved who works so hard to put this event on every year, can’t wait for the next one 🙂 Also sorry to the burger stand man whose lunch time rush was made worse by us by ordering 5 hot dogs, a burger and 1,000 drinks! ♥
The Bronte Vintage Gathering has been going for nearly 20 years and has raised over £350,000 for Sue Ryder, Manorlands Hospice in Oxenhope.
Manorlands provides palliative care and complementary therapy to people with life-limiting illnesses.
Don’t ever let anyone make you think you’re not good enough.
Follow your dreams right now! Don’t wait until tomorrow,
next week, next year. Stop planning, start doing 🙂
Be happy and keep smiling 😀
