There are a few…who am I kidding? I could go on for days!
Spelling is probably the biggest one…seriously though spell check is everywhere. On your phone, Facebook, in fact all social media sites as far as I know, have spell check. There are even these things called ‘dictionaries’ where you can check the spelling of a word, if books aren’t your thing you can Google them too!
When that wiggly red line appears under a word on Facebook, it means you’ve spelt the word wrong.
These are some of the most annoying ones…
- Threw, when you meant through.
‘Kevin threw the ball and it went through the window’.
- Your when you meant you’re
‘This is your spelling lesson. You’re welcome’.
- Their, they’re, there.
‘They’re taking their children to Disney World. They can’t wait to get there.’
- A lot, opposed to alot.
‘I obviously have a lot of issues’.
‘Alot’ is not a word.
I could go on with this all day and I would love it! I’m not going to though because you’re probably already bored. (Yes, already with just one ‘l’, because it only has one ‘l’).
Learning is fun!
Don’t ever let anyone make you think you’re not good enough.
Follow your dreams right now! Don’t wait until tomorrow,
next week, next year. Stop planning, start doing 🙂
Be happy and keep smiling 😀
