I recently had the pleasure of being pampered by Sophie, a wonderful ‘Tropic Ambassador‘.

Tropic make naturally sourced, vegan, cruelty free body, skin and make-up products.

Sophie began the pamper session with a beautifully relaxing Tropic Signature Facial before giving me a tailored make-over.

Watch our Tropic Signature Facial and Make-Over here.

The products used today are all available for purchase and they all smell incredible.

It was like bringing the experience of a spa in to my home, I was left refreshed and relaxed. I loved the facial, my skin felt rejuvenated, the products were light and fresh and smelt good enough to eat. I am especially impressed with the bamboo cloth and make-up brush, I am considering buying one of those purely to brush over my face without using any make-up!

I’m not a huge make-up wearer so it does sometimes feel peculiar to me but again the products weren’t heavy or over powering. Overall I loved every second of it. Not only are there some great skin care products available here but the ethics of the company and the whole story behind it is wonderful and something I think we should all be shouting about!

I loved listening to the background story of Tropic, created by Susan Ma. The inspirations behind creating the products, which stems from growing up in North Queensland, Australia surrounded by tropical plants and natural remedies.

There seemed to be an anecdote or small snippet of information for each potion, lotion and even brushes! Such as hyaluronic acid (the stuff that makes baby’s skin so plump and squishy) can be found in the tail end of a rooster…however since Tropic are cruelty free they grow their own in their beauty kitchen!

Sophie has an excellent knowledge of the products she uses, it is obvious that she is passionate about them and really does enjoy and believe in them.

Sophie spoke quite animatedly about how many of the products available through Tropic are suitable for her daughter who suffers with many allergies; being a dairy free household it is great for them that Tropic are vegan friendly.

As a Tropic Ambassador, Sophie is available to book for facials, make-overs, parties, Bridal make-up and tutorials. To find out more visit her Facebook group and request to join or visit her Ambassador page at Tropic.

Or if you feel you’d like to become an ambassador yourself, she’s more than happy to chat with you about it.

As mentioned in the video we have a Jasmine, Naroli and Vertvert body wash to give away! For free! (Usually priced at £10) To be in with a chance of winning all you have to do is leave a comment on this post so your name can be entered in to one of those random generator thingy ma bobs.
