It’s only fair that the little whipper snappers get to join in on the fun too…
Here I have complied a list of films suitable for children, well I think they’re suitable for children but then again I let my son watch ‘Game of Thrones’ so what do I know..? That is a complete lie, I don’t let him watch GoT. Just kidding, I’m fairly certain that he’s never watched an episode of it… I have let him watch Insidious though because I’m a cool Mum… 😉
I’ll let you decide for yourselves, do not take my word for it. If you’re really worried you can watch the whole film by yourself first and then decide (who even does that?).
There are, I’m sure, hundreds of child friendly Halloween films out there but these are a few of my favourites.
Hocus Pocus – Witchcraft, curses, ghosts and Bette Midler being awesome
Monster House – Now this IS a kids film but in all honesty in did scare me a little bit, it’s definitely worth a watch. (Okay, I’ll admit it, it scared me a lot).
Frankenweenie – Excellent story, little bit scary.
Casper – Casper is hilarious, not scary and you’ve got Devon Sawa and Christina Ricci which is quite possibly one of the best things ever
Addams Family – “They’re creepy and they’re kooky, mysterious and spooky, they’re altogether ooky”… you know the rest.
The Witches – An excellent adaptation of the Roald Dahl classic.
Beetlejuice – “Beetlejuice, beetlejuice, beetlejuice” Just watch this, that is all I have to say.
Have a happy Halloween 🙂
Don’t ever let anyone make you think you’re not good enough.
Follow your dreams right now! Don’t wait until tomorrow,
next week, next year. Stop planning, start doing 🙂
Be happy, keep screaming 😉
