The canal is my friend…so what.

I wouldn’t ordinarily be on the canal in the dark because it is a rather scary place, however on this particular day I had walked in to Shipley and didn’t take in to account that it would be getting dark by the time I walked home…

But!

I was brave and I didn’t die…yay!

So I apologise for the very picture heavy post but I feel that my experience of the scary canal at dusk should be shared with you people and has nothing to do with the fact that I have had zero time to actually write a full blog post….

I’d say I visit the canal on a regular basis, under normal circumstances it’s at least 3 times a week. And it always has something new to offer or a secret to share with me. I’ve always found it pretty fascinating, which may sound completely sad but it is pretty incredible. And I kind of love it. In fact, you know what? I do love it! There I’ve said, I love the canal.

I seem to have created a special, personal relationship with it over the years and even though it would probably give me hepatitis c if I gave it half a chance, (like most of my friends really…) it’s not let me down yet, plus it gives me chance to see lots of doggies, ducks and the opportunity to take pretty pictures!

Thanks Leeds Liverpool Canal, you’re a keeper πŸ˜‰

Don’t ever let anyone make you think you’re not good enough.Β

Follow your dreams right now! Don’t wait until tomorrow,

Β next week, next year. Stop planning, start doing πŸ™‚
