Just a quick one…

I’m not going to lie I am totally unprepared for this weeks blog… hence why it’s being posted so late…
I’ve been away this weekend and so Friday was a mad rush to get my vlog and song posted, plus an audition video filmed and “regular” work to complete too. Then pack etc, have a life and home and family, blah, blah, blah… I did have notes ready for a blog to post, then when I’ve come to read them through it turns out I’ve already posted that one… that serves me right for not paying enough attention to myself.
So, instead of freaking out or not posting at all, I’ve decided to do a very short blog of our weekend.

We were visiting Northumberland, we’re very lucky that my Mum has a holiday cottage up there and we get to go quite often. I realised this weekend that Christopher and I have been going there for 12 years! I couldn’t believe it! And I’ve never once been bored with the thought of visiting. There’s something very calm and peaceful about the area, I think it must be something to do with being near the sea.

In the little village where we go there is a church, and we’ve walked past it a thousand times, and I always say I want to go in. I’m not religious, I don’t attend church on a regular basis, but I love churches, cathedrals, all places of worship really, I find them fascinating.
Well, this time, before we left I made sure we paid the church a quick visit!

No visit to Northumberland is complete without crossing the causeway onto Holy Island! It is a dream of mine to one day own a house on this island. It’s amazing. And I always have to nip into Pilgrims Fudge and Gelateria because I have an addiction to fudge…

Here’s a few snaps from the fabulous Holy Island! I’ve posted a few more on my Facebook and Instagram so come say hello over there if you feel so inclined!

I told you it was going to be a short one, I do not have the brain power to string much else together today… After a busy weekend, an early start, 3 hours driving, then home to 4 hours of work, I’m pooped! Just like Jack here…

Have a fabulous week!
